My previous blog post, I addressed to my sister, Jennifer, in April, after I found out she had been missing since February of this year. My blog has been quiet since then, other than my update to the previous post to provide a link to the first news story about my missing sister, which came out in July.
I have decided to return to my blog. But some things will be different. There is no going back to what the blog was and what my life was before. I started the blog – “A few words … from Montréal” – in March 2023, as a labour of love, to celebrate my first year of returning to Montréal. Because I love this city. It has become part of who I am (perhaps it always has been). So, you will still find me — and by extension, Montréal — in my posts. Only now, my sister will be here with me.
Love will also be the well I try to draw from in sharing things in this blog about my sister. Sometimes these will be moments in life, other times, these will be details related to her missing person case.
I will post to my blog as I am able and I hope you will share a few minutes with me here each time that I do.
