This post is about things made with love.
I have a string of origami cranes — made by my sister, Jennifer — hanging along one of my windows at home. It’s one of the first things I see when I wake up in the morning. In recent months, because of present circumstances, I now see that string of origami cranes differently from when I first hung it three years ago.
It happens to us all. Time passes, things happen, circumstances change. What we see changes what we know and how we feel.
Just a few words today. A few words for my sister, who made so many things with love, all her life.
On this Thanksgiving, I am thinking of my sister, Jennifer, and her children. I hope they feel her love today and every day.
