on the radio with CBC

The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC) has been on the air since 1936 and has been on my radio, then my phone, for many years. CBC radio is now even closer to home after my conversation this week with Shelley Joyce, host of CBC Daybreak in Kamloops. We talked about my sister, Jennifer, who has been missing from her home in British Columbia since February of this year. I reported my sister missing to the RCMP in April, the day I learned from her husband that she had not been seen since February.

To listen to the interview, aired on CBC radio on August 14, 2025, you can use this link (there is also a brief interview with the RCMP that immediately follows mine).

It deeply saddens me to say that I shared in the CBC interview that I no longer think my sister alive. I am asking the public for help in finding out what happened to her. I’m also asking for help in finding her remains so that those who love my sister can honour her life with dignity.

If you have any information about what happened to my sister, please call Crime Stoppers. They are NOT the police and tips are anonymous.

I invite you to follow the missing person page dedicated to finding out what happened to my sister. This page is also where people can connect about Jennifer’s missing person case.

I would like to thank Shelley Joyce at CBC for our conversation. I was nervous about speaking to the media, but her thoughtfulness and professionalism put to rest any concerns that I had about speaking on air at CBC.

I would also like to thank those in the community — in and around 100 Mile House, British Columbia and beyond — who have shared the missing person posts and their concern. Thank you. Please keep talking about my sister. Please keep her on the radar for the ongoing RCMP investigation and for the media.
