*** *** ORIGINAL POST, PUBLISHED APRIL 25, 2025 *** ***
I found out this week that my sister, Jennifer, is missing. I am in contact with the RCMP and I have their go-ahead to share this news. If you have seen her or have any information about her whereabouts, please contact the RCMP (this is the press release). Please share this in your networks to help get the word out.
Jennifer, if you see this, please call me. I love you.
Jennifer, if you see this, meet me in these moments in time together and think of how many more moments there are for us to have:
- Walking from our grandmother’s house in Montréal to Atwater market (when we were so little).
- Being in the back seat of the station wagon as our dad would drive over that last hill before getting to Lac-des-Plages.
- Growing vegetables in the way-too-big-for-a-backyard garden when we all first moved to Toronto.
- Laughing that summer of the “in-pool-person” and looking for the Eurythmics tape.
- Your first visit that winter to SFU and Vancouver and quietly winning you over on moving to the west coast.
- So many moments with my daughters, then your sons, when they were children.
- Walking together on the path between your Forest Grove cabin and mine (and the mischief of the goats, always those goats).
- Our time sitting together, sometimes talking, sometimes in silence, looking out at Canim Lake during my visits to you in BC.
Jennifer, please see this. I love you.
